Dhankuta: A head-on collision between a passenger bus and a milk tanker on Friday morning has left 12 people injured. The accident occurred near Sukepokhari in Dhankuta Municipality-1.
The injured passengers have been admitted to Dhankuta Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. Most sustained injuries to their face, arms, and legs.
The bus, traveling from Dharan to Ankhibhuin in Sankhuwasabha, collided with the milk tanker coming from the opposite direction around 12:30 PM. Police have initiated an investigation and preliminary findings indicate driver negligence as the cause of the accident.
