Besisahar: A jeep accident in Makaidanda, Besisahar Municipality 6, Lamjung, left 19 people injured on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred around 11:30 AM when jeep number Ga 1 Ja 8551, traveling from Saring towards Besi Sahar, veered off the road and collided with a wall.
According to Lamjung police chief DSP Nishant Srivastav, the injured passengers are being treated at Lamjung Hospital. Three of the injured have been referred to Chitwan for further medical attention.
The condition of the injured is reported to be stable, with no serious injuries. Most of the injuries are on the hands, arms, legs, and head. Three people with head injuries were sent to Chitwan for CT scans.
Initial investigations suggest that the jeep failed to negotiate a downhill curve, leading to the accident. The police are currently investigating the incident to determine the exact cause.
