A 19-year-old student, Padma Sunar, was found dead with a slit throat in Ribdikot rural municipality-1 of Palpa district, Nepal. Police have confirmed the incident and are investigating.
Sunar had reportedly gone to bathe in a nearby spout on Tuesday afternoon and did not return home. Her body was discovered later that evening with injuries suggestive of a struggle.
Chiranjivi Pokharel, Ward President, confirmed Sunar’s identity and her status as a Grade 12 student at Sarada Secondary School.
