A young woman’s life was tragically cut short in Palpa. The victim, 19-year-old Padma Sunar, a resident of Ribdikot rural municipality-1 Khyaha, had ventured out to bathe at a nearby public tap on Tuesday afternoon. However, when she failed to return home by late evening, concerns grew, leading to a devastating discovery.
According to police reports, Padma’s lifeless body was found, bearing horrific marks of violence. Various parts of her body had been brutally cut with sharp weapons, suggesting a heinous act of cruelty. Authorities are leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of justice. District Police Office Palpa SP Narendra Chand revealed that the crime scene has been secured, and a specialized canine unit from Bhairahawa has been dispatched to aid in the investigation.
