Bajhang: A tragic incident occurred in Thalara Rural Municipality, Ward No. 2 Dorgau, Bajhang, where two young siblings, 3-year-old Surbir Khati and 5-year-old Siya Khati, lost their lives due to a yellow hornet sting.
The incident took place on Saturday afternoon while the children were cutting grass near their home. Three other family members, including their 7-year-old sister Sumi Khati, their mother Dammara Khati, and their 58-year-old grandmother, were also injured in the attack. They are currently receiving treatment at Rayal Primary Health Center Deura.
Rabindra Khati, spokesperson for Thalara Rural Municipality, confirmed the incident and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the young lives. He stated that the entire community of Dorgau is mourning this tragic event, which occurred during the festive season of Tihar.
