Siraha: A 20-year-old man lost his life in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Bhaluwahi, Siraha Municipality-11.
The deceased has been identified as Rupesh Mahato, a resident of Karjanha Municipality-5. Another rider, 32-year-old Pradip Kumar Paswan of Bishnupur Rural Municipality-1, sustained injuries in the incident.
According to police, the motorcycle, bearing the registration number Pradesh 01-02-01 PA 0434, was traveling from Siraha towards Choharwa when it veered off the road due to excessive speed and collided with a culvert.
Both injured individuals were rushed to the Provincial Hospital in Siraha. While Mahato succumbed to his injuries, Paswan, who suffered leg injuries, was subsequently transferred to Biratnagar for advanced medical care.
District Police Office, Siraha spokesperson DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan confirmed the details of the accident and the subsequent actions taken.
