In Rupandehi, Nepal, armed police seized a container transporting 272 kilograms of marijuana along the Hulaki road bypass in Rohini rural municipality-1. The Indian-registered container was traveling from Nepal towards India when authorities conducted a routine check.
The driver, 36-year-old Indian citizen Satnam Singh, was arrested at the scene. Armed Police Force Co-spokesperson DSP Shailendra Thapa confirmed that Singh, the recovered marijuana, and the container have been transferred to the District Police Office in Bhairahawa for further investigation and legal action.
