A 60-year-old man, Asharam Chaudhary, has been arrested by the District Police Office in Kailali on charges of allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl. Chaudhary, a resident of Tikapur municipality-1, was taken into custody at his home last night.
According to reports, it is claimed that Chaudhary took the girl to the Kailasheshwar community forest near the village where the alleged rape occurred a few days ago. The arrest was made following a complaint filed by the parents of the girl.
