Eight Chinese nationals sustained injuries in a collision between a microbus and a jeep in Pokhara, Kaski. The accident occurred at Rashtra Bank Chowk at approximately 4:40 am today.
The injured individuals, who were passengers in the microbus, are receiving treatment at Gandaki Medical College. Their condition is reported as moderate.
Police have detained the drivers of both vehicles: Raj Kumar Adhikari (43) of the Scorpio, and Tul Bahadur Karki (41) of the microbus. Initial reports indicate the Scorpio was the only vehicle occupied by its driver.
The collision also caused damage to a parked scooter and a nearby money changer’s shop.
