Malika Rural Municipality, Myagdi: An 8-year-old boy has been reported missing after being swept away by the Myagdi River in Chyarchyare. The incident occurred on Friday evening around 5:30 PM near the Jholuhange bridge.
The missing boy, identified as Salman Patel, is a resident of Malika Rural Municipality-1 Niskot. He was swimming near the bridge when he was carried away by the strong current.
According to local authorities, the search for the boy was hampered by heavy rainfall on Friday. However, rescue teams have been mobilized to continue the search efforts.
