Jhapa: A tragic incident occurred in Bhadrapur Municipality on Sunday when a 9-year-old boy drowned in the local Devi River. The victim has been identified as the son of Mahesh Rasaili, a resident of Ward No. 1.
According to the District Police Office, Jhapa, the child was swimming in the river when he encountered difficulties and was submerged. Despite being rushed to Bhadrapur Provincial Hospital, medical professionals were unable to revive him.
The untimely demise of the young boy has sent shockwaves through the community.
