From 13 to 16 February it will arrive in Italian cinemas for the first time (list soon on nexostudios.it and presales open from 16 January) HELLO! SPANK. THE FILM. SPANK’S LOVE’S PAIN from 1982, the film dedicated to the hilarious protagonist character of one of the most followed animated series in Italy. The film, by Yamato Video, is the first appointment of the year for the Anime Season at the Cinema, the exclusive project of Nexo Studios.
Based on the manga created by Shun’ichi Yukimuro and Shizue Takanashi, HELLO! SPANK became an anime TV series produced by TMS (Lupine III and Lady Oscar), with a total of 63 episodes which was followed by a 95 minute film, SPANK’S LOVE’S PAIN, produced in 1982. The event at the cinema from 13 to 16 February, it is thought of as a reunion of all the fans of the series on the occasion of Valentine’s Day and will transport all the spectators who still remember the two Italian theme songs on a journey through a touching story of friendship, love and growth where the irresistible friendliness and generosity of the funniest two-legged dog in the world infect the protagonists and enchant adults and children alike
In HELLO! SPANK. THE FILM. THE LOVE PAINS OF SPANK the clumsy little dog friend of Aiko, falls in love at first sight with the dog Anna. Sho Shimada, Anna’s master, moves into Aiko’s class. Thanks to a series of squabbles and Anna’s illness, the two become closer to each other. However, suddenly, Sho has to move to America to study violin and worries because he can’t tell Aiko. The girl, who heard about this fact from his mother, would like to build some good memories with Sho in the time they have left to spend together before leaving…
