The Aam Janata Party (AJP), under the leadership of Prabhu Sah, is set to stage a public demonstration today in Kathmandu, advocating against the prevailing party system and rampant corruption. Following the demonstration, AJP’s president and former minister, Prabhu Sah, will deliver a significant address at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.

Chandra Bhushan Sah, Deputy General Secretary of AJP, has highlighted the necessity of this demonstration, citing the escalating corruption, irregularities, and theft within the nation. He asserts that unless these widespread issues are addressed, genuine development remains unattainable, attributing the weakened economic state of the country to systemic corruption.

Ravindra Singh, a member of the AJP Standing Committee, has outlined the objectives behind the public demonstration. These include issuing a caution to those entrenched in the party system, defending the concerns of the people’s movement, demanding accountability from leaders responsible for the nation’s deterioration, safeguarding the country from economic peril, and exerting pressure on those implicated in scandals.
