The Aam Janata Party (AJP), led by Prabhu Sah, has announced its intention to endorse Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda.’ During a recent Secretariat meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Koteshwor, the AJP decided to express its confidence in PM Dahal.
Notably, Sah had previously expressed his confidence in the Prime Minister last year. Despite acknowledging the failure of the current democratic system, Sah has opted to support PM Dahal to contribute to the stability of the country.
In his statement, Sah criticized the existing system, alleging that major political parties have turned the country into a victim of their political syndicate. Nevertheless, he underscored his decision to back PM Dahal as a means to promote political stability. Sah clarified that this support comes with conditions attached.
PM Dahal is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence in the federal parliament on Wednesday.
