Aston Villa has made official the signing of Andrés García from Levante. The Valencian full-back heads to the team led by Unai Emery in exchange for 7 million euros in cash, 2.25 million in variables and 15% of a possible future sale.
The defender is heading to Villa Park after having an extraordinary first round with the Valencian team and being a fundamental piece for Julián Calero. Andrés has played a total of 50 official matches with the first team and has managed to score a total of four goals in the three seasons he has played in the Second Division.
Levante, in its farewell statement, wanted to thank “the determination, dedication and commitment” that the player has had, as well as what he has meant for the fans, “a reference for Levantinism.”
