Armed Robbery in Siraha: 1.5 Million Rupees Looted

SIRAH, NEPAL – An armed group riding an Indian motorcycle robbed 1.5 million rupees from Purushottam Yadav, who was transporting the funds for Shiva Money Transfer in Siraha headquarters on Sunday at 11 am.

DSP Muktinath Sapkota, Police Spokesperson of Siraha, confirmed that two individuals armed with pistols intercepted Yadav while he was transferring the money from Global Bank to the money transfer service.

Authorities suspect the robbers may have fled to India. The District Police Office Siraha is conducting an active search and investigation.
