A tractor accident on the Baitadi-Bajhang section of the Darchula-Jaiprithvi highway has resulted in two fatalities. The tractor (number SE 2 TA 3678), traveling from Surnaya in Baitadi district, veered off the road at Jhaulek turn in Patan Municipality-8.
Baitadi district police spokesperson Khem Bikram KC confirmed the deaths of two individuals, including the driver. Their identities have not yet been released.
The accident occurred during the night, with police being notified only this morning. The tractor fell approximately 150-200 meters from the roadway. Police are currently on the scene, and further details about the incident are expected to be released shortly.
