Police in Nepal have arrested nine individuals, including Bibeksheel Sajha Party Chairman Samikshya Baskota and General Secretary Ranju Darshana, during a protest held in Maitighar Mandala, a designated restricted area.
The arrests also included central members Ajit Khadka and Surendra Ranabhat, as well as leaders Sakil Ahmad, Utsav Adhikari, Uttam Khanal, and Yujan Rajbhandari.
The Bibeksheel Sajha Party’s Vice-Chairperson, Prakash Chandra Pariyar, condemned the arrests, calling for the immediate release of the detained leaders.
