Birgunj police have arrested a 22-year-old woman, Aarti Kumari, residing in Birgunj Metropolitan City-17, Parsa, on charges of killing her 5-month-old son. The arrest took place on May 14th based on a tip-off.
Kumari is accused of strangling her son on the morning of August 12th, 2023, and subsequently fleeing to East Champaran, India. The District Police Office Parsa is conducting further investigation into the case.
