A shocking discovery was made during the unloading of a truck in Dhangadhi on July 28th. The body of an unidentified person was found in the vehicle.
The truck, bearing the registration number Supr 01001 Kha 2442, had arrived in Dhangadhi from Birgunj carrying a load of sticks and plastic bags. It was while offloading these items that the horrifying find was made.
The driver, Labindra Rana (38) from Bedkot Municipality-9, Kanchanpur, and his co-driver, Om Prakash Rana (22), have been detained by the police for questioning. Both men have claimed to be unaware of the body’s presence in the truck.
The deceased has been taken to Seti Provincial Hospital for identification and further examination. Kailali’s Chief Superintendent of Police (SP) Padma Bahadur Bista has stated that an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
Authorities are working to determine the identity of the victim and the circumstances surrounding their death.
