The body of a woman reported missing since June 22nd, 2024, has been found on the border between Mahakali and Chameliya rivers in Baitadi district, Nepal.
The discovery was made on Monday morning in Dobhan Khutiya, located within Dasharathchand Municipality-6. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Hemanti Giri, a resident of Damsaina village in Darchula district’s Lekam Rural Municipality-4.
According to Balaram Pandey, spokesperson for the Baitadi District Police Office, an investigation into the incident is ongoing. No further details have been released at this time.
