One body was recovered this morning from the banks of the Narayani River in Gaindakot Municipality, East Nawalparasi, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan. Preparations are underway to transport the body to Bharatpur for further investigation.
Authorities suspect the body may be linked to the bus passengers missing after the Simaltal landslide. Two bodies were found in the same area on Saturday, bringing the total number recovered from the Narayani River to five.
It’s important to note that three bodies identified on Saturday were separate from this morning’s discovery.
