The production team behind the Nepali film ‘Boksi Ko Ghar’ has announced a sequel following its successful box office performance. During a press conference, the team revealed the film grossed over 6 crores (60 million) in just five days. Distributor Ashok Sharma noted that collections outside the Kathmandu Valley were particularly strong.
Actress and producer Keki Adhikari attributed the sequel’s greenlight to the film’s success. “When Sulakshyan Bharati first told me the story, I laughed. But the story is strong, which is why we’ve announced the sequel,” she said.
Writer and director Sulakshan Bharati confirmed that while a screenplay exists, the sequel will begin production only after they complete another film project. “The story and screenplay are ready, but we won’t begin filming immediately. We will start production after completing another film,” he stated.
