A Buddha Air ATR 72 (BHA 161) preparing for takeoff from Kathmandu to Varanasi was forced to return to the parking area on Monday morning after a technical problem was detected.
Tribhuvan Airport spokesperson, Subas Jha, confirmed the incident, stating that an indicator signaled a technical issue. “Pilots don’t take risks with even minor signs of trouble,” he said, “This grounding was a standard safety procedure.”
