Eight people sustained injuries in a bus accident that occurred early Thursday morning in Kaski’s Annapurna Rural Municipality, Myagdi.
The bus, traveling from Kathmandu to Myagdi Beni with registration number Ba 5 Kha 285, met with the mishap around 4:30 am in Annapurna-1, Lewade.
Kaski District Police Office clarified that a total of 13 people, including the bus driver, were hurt in the incident. Deputy Superintendent of Police Basanta Kumar Sharma reported that all the injured are receiving treatment at various Pokhara hospitals, and their conditions are stable. One person is being treated in Myagdi Beni.
Police investigations indicate that the bus veered off the road and plunged into a drainage ditch on the right side.
