Chitwan: A bus accident occurred on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section on Sunday morning, resulting in injuries to ten people.
The incident took place in Bharatpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 29 when a Sudurpaschim Pradesh bus (02-001 Kha 1332) traveling from Mahendranagar to Kathmandu veered off the road and collided with the divider. The bus narrowly avoided plunging into the Trishuli River due to a protective fence.
Ten individuals sustained injuries in the accident and were promptly transported to Bharatpur for medical attention, according to District Police Office Chitwan’s DSP Bheshraj Rijal.
Following the accident, the road has been reduced to one-way traffic to facilitate emergency services and clear the scene.
