Lalitpur: A Mahanagar Transport bus (number BA 4 KHA 106) caught fire at Satdobato in Lalitpur on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred around 5:05 PM while the bus was traveling on the Chakrapath route.
According to traffic police inspector Bhupendra Giri, the cause of the fire is still under investigation. The bus driver reported that the engine suddenly burst into flames.
Passengers were able to safely evacuate the vehicle before the fire spread. Giri confirmed that all passengers escaped the incident unharmed.
