A tragic road accident occurred on the East-West Highway in Ratnanagar Municipality-2 Subjimandi, resulting in one fatality and two serious injuries.
According to the District Police Office, a bus traveling from Khairhani to Tandi collided with a motorcycle, leading to the accident. A 21-year-old passenger, Sunil Paudel of Ratnanagar-13 Amiliya, succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
Two other passengers, 20-year-old Sahil Pariyar and 21-year-old Sanjay Lama, sustained critical injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at the same medical facility.
The bus driver has been apprehended by the police for further investigation.
