Kanchanpur: The tiger responsible for the fatal attack in Dodhara Chandani Municipality-2 has been transferred to the rescue center in Rammapur, Bardiya National Park. The animal was captured on Friday afternoon and kept at the rescue center overnight.
The tiger had attacked and killed 26-year-old Hiradevi Shah on Thursday morning while she was cutting grass in her garden. A joint team with five elephants successfully tranquilized and captured the tiger on Friday.
The Bardiya National Park rescue center already houses a problematic female tiger and two male tigers. The newly captured male tiger will be kept in a separate cage within the center.
