A car accident in Kopundole, Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality-10, caused a temporary power outage this morning. At approximately 5:30 AM, a car with the license plate Bagmati Pradesh 01-029 Cha 4282, driven by Sanjit Joshi of Satdobato, veered off the road and struck an electrical pole.
The Kopundole Police Division reported that the driver, Mr. Joshi, was unharmed in the accident, but the car sustained damage. Mr. Joshi is currently in police custody.
The collision damaged the electrical pole, leading to a power disruption in the area. Authorities are investigating the incident, but initial findings suggest that excessive speed may have contributed to the crash.
