Nawalparasi, Nepal: A cargo truck carrying flour caught fire on Sunday night at the 40-kilometer mark of the East Nawalparasi section of the Mahendra Highway. The incident occurred near the district police office.
The truck, with the registration number Na 6 Kha 1878, was transporting flour from Bhairahawa to Hetauda when the fire broke out. According to the police, a tire burst is believed to have caused the blaze.
The fire resulted in the loss of 21 tons of flour, estimated to be worth around 1.3 million Rupees. This is the second cargo truck fire incident reported in the area within four days. Previously, a cargo truck was set ablaze in Downey.
