Bhaktapur police have released CCTV footage of a scooter driver who was fatally struck by a truck in Gatthaghar. The victim is believed to be a male aged between 40 and 45 years old.
According to DSP Rajan Karki, a blue book belonging to Uttam Koirala was found at the scene, leading police to believe that he may be the deceased. However, efforts are ongoing to confirm his identity.
The fatal collision involved a scooter, with plate number Ba 49 Pa 8944, and a truck, with plate number Na 6 Kha 2173. The victim’s body has been sent to the University Teaching Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
