A two-and-a-half-year-old girl, Subina Banu, has tragically died after being hit by a tractor in Tulsipur, Dang. Subina was the daughter of Abdul Jawwar Bhand, currently residing near the Pashupati brick kiln in Tulsipur-12 Gwarkhola.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when a tractor (registration number Ra 1 Ta 1559) working at the brick kiln struck the girl. She was rushed to Rapti Provincial Hospital Tulsipur with serious injuries but sadly succumbed to them on Sunday night.
Police Inspector Navachandra Malla of the Tulsipur area police office has confirmed the arrest of the tractor driver. An investigation into the accident is currently underway.
