A 10-year-old child, Sulaj Budha, has tragically died from injuries sustained in a forest fire in Dolpa’s Tripurasundari Municipality. The blaze also critically injured two other children, who are being airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.
The fire broke out on Thursday in the Su Community Forest while the children, siblings from the same house, were collecting mushrooms. District Police Chief, DSP Harikrishna KC, confirmed the fatality and the ongoing rescue efforts.
