Jajarkot: A frantic search is underway for a 13-year-old boy who was swept away by a river in Jajarkot district on Thursday afternoon. Mahendra Budha, a resident of Barekot Municipality-3, Budhagaon, disappeared while crossing the river after tending to his cattle.
Local police in Rami Danda were alerted to the incident and immediately dispatched a search team. Rescue efforts are currently focused on the river stretch between Nayakwara and Limsa, covering a wide area to locate the missing child.
Authorities are urging local residents to assist in the search and have requested information from anyone who may have seen the boy.
