A 56-year-old Chinese citizen, Piyan Changsin, was found dead in his hotel room in Bharatpur, Chitwan this morning. Mr. Changsin had been staying at the Barsana Hotel, located near BP Koirala Cancer Hospital, since June 24th while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Police reported finding Mr. Changsin deceased in his room at 8:55 am. The cause of death for Mr. Changsin, who was known to be battling cancer, has not yet been determined.
The District Police Office in Chitwan has confirmed an investigation into the incident is underway.
