Almost a year ago, Kirk Cousins fell. One of the most beloved players in the NFL after his participation in ‘Quarterback’, a Netflix series about the league. He played for the Minnesota Vikings, they were fighting for the Playoffs and his Achilles Tendon said enough. One of the worst injuries for a professional and something that kills careers, especially in a competition as damaging as the NFL. The one from Illinois never gave up, he signed for the Atlanta Falcons… and the miracle came. Not only did he come back, he also won in the NFL.

It’s Netflix-worthy again. Cousins seemed to disappear from the elite after an injury that left him out for 11 months. The same year, moreover, in which his contract – which reached 40 million annually – expired. But Atlanta, one of those cursed franchises, opted for ’18’. And the triumphs came.
After a terrible start to the year in which they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-18), Atlanta had a tough nut to crack in the Philadelphia Eagles, one of the great teams in the league. But their duel was perfect and Cousins’ chance came two minutes from the end. Cousins, specifically, finished with 20/29 passing, 241 passing yards, two converted touchdown passes and the two most important facts: the game-winning drive and his first win with Atlanta. A brilliant player had returned and in his day he was one of the highest paid.
