The CPN-UML National Congress Representative Council meeting commences today in Lalitpur’s Sunrise Hall. Nearly 2,500 UML leaders and workers from across Nepal will participate in the gathering.
Special guests include Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda (Maoist Center) and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, who will both address the meeting.
The key focuses of the meeting will be:
- Review of the “Jhulaghat-Chiwa Bhanjyang” journey, conducted as part of the “Mission Grassroots” campaign for organizational strengthening
- Evaluation of annual action plans for the coming year
Party President KP Sharma Oli will present a political report, while General Secretary Shankar Pokharel will deliver an organizational report. Reports from several commissions and the Central Advisory Council will also be presented.
Technological advancements will streamline the meeting. Delegates can access their identity cards and view documents via a mobile app, which will also allow for real-time feedback and suggestions.
The meeting is scheduled to continue until April 22nd.
