The long-awaited first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again has finally arrived, the Disney Plus series that will bring back Charlie Cox as the demon from Hell’s Kitchen. Of course, new allies and enemies will also arrive, such as Muse, an intriguing and disturbing rival that we present to you here.
Muse is a villain who appeared in the Daredevil comics for the first time in 2016. His name, which translates to ‘muse’ in Spanish, is in reference to his tendencies. Since he murders his victims and then uses their blood and bodies to create disturbing works of art that he distributes throughout New York City.
Although his origin is never explained, Muse has certain powers that seem superhuman. Among them is a strength greater than that of a normal human, a speed greater than average and even a kind of imperceptibility that makes it difficult for even Matt Murdock to identify him.

We don’t know if these powers will be introduced in Daredevil: Born Again or if they will go a more realistic route as was the case with the majority of their Netflix series. What could be Muse’s role in Daredevil: Born Again?
Within the comics there is a Daredevil story that could serve as the inspiration for Born Again and explain Muse’s role. Since here we just see Kingpin as mayor of New York while he is in the process of creating a law that prohibits vigilantes in the city.
As Matt Murdock continues his actions against criminals, they inspire Muse to make more brutal works of art that show his support for different heroes. One of these is the Punisher, who has a mural with different human parts, an action that Wilson Fisk attributes to Frank Castle and seeks to use as an argument for his law. Since we have Muse and Punisher in Born Again, it seems very likely that this will be the plot we see.
