Producers have revealed that the sequel to the popular romantic comedy ‘De De Pyaar De’ will hit theaters on May 1, 2025. The film, titled ‘De De Pyaar De 2’, will begin shooting this June.
Directed by Anshul Sharma and produced by T-Series and Luv Films, the film’s release will coincide with both International Labour Day and Maharashtra Day.
Fans of the original 2019 film can expect a similar focus on complex relationships. The first movie starred Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Rakul Preet Singh, and explored the challenges faced by a middle-aged man who falls for a much younger woman.
Ajay Devgn has a busy schedule ahead of the sequel. His upcoming film ‘Maidaan’, where he portrays a renowned football coach, is slated for an April 2024 release.
