Four people tragically died early this morning in a jeep accident on the Surkhet-Dailekh road section.
The incident occurred around 2:00 am near Ratanagala, Birendranagar when a Bolero Jeep (Bhe. 1 Cha 2560) traveling from Surkhet to Kalikot veered off the road and plunged approximately 100 meters.
Two individuals were declared dead at the scene, while another two succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the provincial hospital.
The District Traffic Police Office, Surkhet, confirmed the accident and reported that two of the deceased were found trapped within the wreckage, pinned against a tree.
Authorities are still working to identify the victims.
There were a total of five passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
