The Super Giants struggled to chase down a target of 209 runs, managing only 189 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Nicholas Pooran’s 61 runs and Arshad Khan’s 58 runs were not enough to salvage the game for Lucknow.
Delhi’s bowlers performed admirably, with Ishant Sharma claiming three wickets, while Khaleel Ahmed, Akshar Patel, Mukesh Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, and Tristan Stubbs each contributed one wicket.
Earlier in the match, the Delhi Capitals set a formidable total of 208 runs, losing four wickets in the process. Notable contributions came from Abishek Porel (58), Tristan Stubbs (57), Cy Hope (38), and Rishabh Pant (33).
For Lucknow, Naveen Ul Haq bagged two wickets, while Arshad Khan and Ravi Bishnoi claimed one wicket each.
With this win, Delhi finishes their league stage campaign with 14 points, while Lucknow, despite having one match remaining, has only 12 points.
