Dharmanath Prasad Yadav, the esteemed former Chief of Lumbini Province, passed away peacefully at the age of 80 in his residence located in Sukhipur Municipality 6, Siraha, on the night of Tuesday.
Yadav was a distinguished personality in the political sphere, known for his unwavering leadership. He assumed the role of head of Lumbini province on November 4, 2019, representing the CPN-UML party.
Transitioning from a career in education to a prominent figure in UML politics back in 2048 BS, Yadav significantly influenced the political landscape of the region.
Despite enduring various health challenges over the years, including a recent battle with paralysis, Yadav remained resilient.
In his final days, he resided in Golbazar Municipality 6 of Siraha, accompanied by his son and daughter-in-law.
Family sources have confirmed that Yadav’s cremation will take place today, honoring his remarkable life and contributions.
