Kathmandu: Traffic has come to a standstill on the Buddhanagar-Babar Mahal bridge after it developed cracks due to heavy rainfall. The bridge, which spans the Dhobi Khola, has been deemed unsafe for crossing.
According to Kathmandu Metropolitan Police, the increased water flow in the Dhobi Khola caused the bridge connecting Ward No. 10 and Ward No. 11 to crack. City Superintendent of Police Dinesh Aryal stated that traffic will remain halted until necessary repairs are completed.
