Narainapur, Banke: A deadly diarrhea outbreak has claimed the lives of four people in the Gegali village of Narainapur Rural Municipality-3 in Banke district, Nepal.

According to Ajay Mishra, the Ward President of Narainapur-3, the victims include Rusa Pasi (25), her 1.5-year-old daughter Nandani Pasi, 60-year-old Shanti Pasi, and 10-year-old Yusuf Ali.

Nagendra Kumar Sah, Head of the Health Branch of Narainapur Rural Municipality, confirmed that the diarrhea outbreak has spread throughout the village, which is located near the Indian border. The health branch has deployed a team of health workers to provide treatment to affected residents.

In response to the crisis, health officials have coordinated with the Banke Health Office to implement measures to contain the spread of diarrhea.
