Perth Royals secured Airee’s signing, adding another big name to the tournament. The league kicks off on August 16th and runs until August 31st, featuring six franchise teams battling it out for glory.
Airee, currently with the Nepali team in the USA for the T20 World Cup, brings a wealth of experience and firepower to the Scottish Super 10. His all-around abilities – batting, bowling, and fielding – make him a valuable asset in the shorter format.
Cricket fans will be eager to see Airee in action, especially considering his record-breaking feats. He holds the world record for the fastest T20I half-century, achieved in a staggering nine balls against Mongolia last September. Furthermore, his ability to smash six sixes in a single over against Qatar during the ACC Premier Cup two months ago is a testament to his aggressive batting style.
Airee’s bowling prowess extends across all stages of the game, dominating the powerplay, middle overs, and death overs. His fielding skills are equally impressive, making him a complete package on the cricket pitch.
