An 83-year-old man, Khadga Bahadur Shrestha, tragically died in a fire that broke out in his shop in Bigu-8 Khopachagu of Dolakha. The incident occurred around 3 am on Wednesday.
Authorities report extensive damage caused by the fire, estimating losses exceeding 4 lakhs. Mr. Shrestha, who ran the shop, was living alone on the premises.
Singati area police are investigating the incident; the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
