A 40-year-old man, Siddha Buddha, from Hothgaon, Mudkechula Rural Municipality, Dolpa, tragically died after a wind-felled tree struck him while he was transporting manure on horseback. The incident caused severe injuries to his arm and legs.
District Police Office Chief DSP Harikrishna KC reports that the victim succumbed to excessive bleeding while being transported to Jumla for emergency treatment. The falling tree also claimed the lives of two horses.
