Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has reached the capital of India, New Delhi. Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, welcomed Rana.
Rana, who is on a five-day visit to India at the invitation of Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, will hold a bilateral meeting with her Indian counterpart Jaishankar during her visit to India.
It is said that there will be discussions on improving relations and cooperation for the benefit of the two countries. It is said that the foreign minister’s visit was in line with the tradition of regular high-level exchanges between Nepal and India.
This is Rana’s first foreign visit after becoming a minister. She is scheduled to return home next Thursday.
