Kathmandu, Nepal – Dusit Princess, an international hotel chain in Lazimpat, Kathmandu, is hosting a “Rainbow Trout Festival” to showcase the unique flavors of Nepalese trout fish. The festival, which began on Sunday, will continue until August 31st.

Prarthana Sen, the market manager of the hotel, emphasized the festival’s aim to introduce rainbow trout, a fish native to Nepal, to guests in a variety of culinary styles. “Rainbow trout is not only delicious but also offers numerous health benefits,” she stated.

Chef Utpal Kumar Mondal, the Culinary Director of the hotel, revealed that the festival features a diverse menu of 12 different rainbow trout dishes. He highlighted the fish’s exceptional taste and the opportunity for guests to experience its versatility through various culinary interpretations.

The week-long festival is open from 12 noon to 10 pm daily. Visitors can savor rainbow trout prepared in Thai, Italian, Indian, and Nepalese styles. The price range for the dishes starts from 990 to 2790 rupees.
